Welcome on the Elim France website

ELIM was founded in 1915 in the United Kingdom through Georges Jeffreys' ministry, and it has about 9000 churches represented in the whole world.

The name "Elim" was taken from Exodus in the Bible. When the Israelites were exhausted and despaired after their exit of the egyptian's serfhood. In their road towards the promised country Canaan, they arrived at a place called Elim. It was an oasis in the desert where there were 12 water sources and 70 palms (Exodus 15:27).

There is in France 5 churches members and 3 churches in observation in Elim France (Union of the Elim evangelical churches of France).

With a heart to reach up to God in worship and out to the world in service, it has a goal to 'build bigger people' - fully resourced and equipped to bring the full gospel to the whole world.
